Painting has always been a hobby, and as time goes by I am giving more and more time to it.  I feel that it is important to express myself, to be creative as possible, and not to get too caught up in the stressful electronic world that we now live in.  Over the years I have come to enjoy painting people and portraits, and I have experimented with different mediums and various styles.  In recent times I have begun to focus on portraits usually taken from photographs.  I then experiment with light intensity and colours, to make the portraits less realistic and more towards a retro/pop art style.  I am always aiming to create pieces of art that people will really notice when they walk into a room, something with emotion that provokes thought and gets people talking.
